Tinashe clears the air today about why she ended up on Nicki Minaj’s tour even though she was set to be on Iggy Azalea’s tour first.

Sitting down with Hot 97 this afternoon, Tinashe says that she didn’t choose to drop out of Iggy’s tour with Nick Jonas, but the fact that Iggy postponed it until the Fall, she was forced to take a pass due to prior commitments she had in place for the fall. As to why she joined Nicki’s tour? Well it was a no-brainer due to her now free schedule and the fact that she was offered the opportunity.

In short, Tinashe was confirmed for Iggy’s tour originally, Iggy pushed it to a later date making Tinashe unavailable, and in the midst of that, Nicki offered Tinashe to join her tour in the meantime, which she accepted since Iggy moved hers back. Makes sense, right?
