When we said the Wale run was in full effect, we weren’t joking. After posting his latest interview with Billboard moments ago, where the MMG crooner spoke on his past drug habits and not being respected in the game, Folarin strikes again with a brand new video for a soothing new tune titled “The White Shoes,” which will live on the upcoming album The Album About Nothing, dropping tonight at midnight.

For the “The White Shoes” video, Wale sends a very important message to the kids out there (and the adults who don’t know any better) about how material possessions aren’t that special. The video shows a young kid working, saving up his money, in order to buy a fresh pair of white shoes. By the end of the video, the kid finally can afford his new shoes and cops them, before getting them stolen from him just moments after leaving the shoe store. But thanks to Wale’s words of wisdom, hopefully he realizes that things will be ok and that they’re just “white shoes.”
