Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Rihanna and Usher Show Support For Jay Z’s TIDAL Streaming Service

If you’ve noticed new blue icons in place of images of your favorite artists, then they’re down with mogul Jay Z and his latest business venture. In a domino effect, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Rihanna other artists swapped out their usual Twitter icons for a light hue of blue in support of Jay Z’s launch of the TIDAL streaming service.

“Together, we can turn the tide and make music history. Start by turning your profile picture blue. ,” Kanye tweeted.

“Change your avi in support of what is fair, of what is the future. The tides have changed, Barbz.… https://instagram.com/p/01vihvr8bD/,” Nicki also posted.

Having a few of his superstar friends help with posting the #TIDALforALL hashtag, Monday (March 30) afternoon at 5p.m. EST, the Brooklyn rapper will announce what’s being titled the “the beginning of a new chapter.” At the top of this year, Jigga’s Project Panther – owned by S. Carter Enterprises – acquired the streaming services WiMP and TIDAL in a deal worth $56 million.
