Joey Bada$$ is riding high off the release of his debut album B4.Da.$$ and an impressive run at this year’s SXSW festival. Now that he’s back from vacay, Joey goes across the country to California to link up with DJ Sourmilk, Justin Credible and the LA Leakers, where the young lyricist spit a killer freestyle over a smooth old school beat deemed “Badmon.” Say what you want about Bada$$, but you can’t deny this man’s ability to actually freestyle — an unfortunate lost art in today’s genre.
