Elliot Wilson’s CRWN interview series has grown to incredible lengths over the last year or so and while YN was down at SXSW this year, he added another dope interview to the list — Big Sean.

Sean has released his brand new album Dark Sky Paradise not too long ago — back in February to be exact — and the response has been great. It’s clear that he grew from Hall Of Fame and we couldn’t be more excited about that. During part 1 of his sit down with Elliot, Big Sean spoke on Dark Sky Paradise and the emotional and strenuous recording process behind it, how the passing of his grandmother impacted the album, etc.

The G.O.O.D. music spitter also spoke on what other albums he’s currently listening to and how they effect him, regular struggles he’s had during his career, his groundbreaking Detroit mixtape, the epic “Control” song, which sparked a wave of competition and much more.
