Producer Velous Hears Final Version Of Kanye West’s ‘All Day’ At VIBE
by Staff Editor
Velous sat down with VIBE earlier this week, and talked about creating the original beat for Kanye West’s new “All Day” single. With the VIBE staff present, young producer Velous heard the final version of his production on Hot97. “I got a couple songs on radio right now but this is a big moment for me because Kanye West is one of my biggest inspirations,” said the “All Day” producer.
The 22-year-old shared the story of how he first started on the beat while casually watching SNL one night in 2014. French Montana brought the production over to Kanye, and that was when the composition came to life.
Yeezy is known to have multiple features on one track, so it was no surprise that he included Paul McCartney, Tyler Bryant, Kendrick Lamar, Karim Kharbouch, Cydel Young, Victor Mensah, Mike Dean, Che Pope, Noah Goldstein, Allen Ritter, Mario Winans, Charles Njapa, Malik Yusef Jones, Patrick Reynolds, Ernest Brown and Noel Ellis to the final product. Yes, you read that correctly.
