Last night (Feb. 22), the who’s who of Hollywood prepared for the biggest movie award night. After a beautiful performance by Common and John Legend, the duo would quickly return to the stage to receive an Oscar for “Best Original Song.”

With tears in leading actor David Oyelowo’s eyes, Common and Legend delivered a riveting speech to ignite the will to fight in everyone in the audience and those watching at home. “Selma is now, because the struggle for justice is right now,” Legend said.
