He’s wayyyy up, he feels blessed. As he should.

Drake continues to break record after record and today the Toronto leader can add one more feat to his long list. Aubrey took to Instagram moments ago to announce that he has become the first rapper in history to top Billboard’s Artist 100 chart, moving up from the 2 spot to the 1 spot in just a week. Posting a screenshot of the Billboard article and the caption, “On my own for real.”, Drake continues to show why he’s in a very special place in his career where all he does is win (word to T-Pain). In addition to this accomplishment, Drake also broke his previously set Spotify record with his latest mixtape/album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. He had the record at 15.4 million streams with his previous album Nothing Was The Same and with the aforementioned mixtape/album that just dropped, Drake earned close to 18 million streams, which again, broke his astronimcally high previous record.

The OVO general also sold over 500,000 records of his album thus far and did so in just under a week. Face it world, Drizzy’s on top.

Congrats to Drake for an amazing accomplishment. And hip-hop, consider this a huge win for the culture.

On my own for real.
