If You're Reading This It's Too Late

Drizzy Drake continues to show why he’s currently running hip-hop. While the Toronto spitter announced his fourth studio album Views From The 6 at the end of 2014, Aubrey took the entire world by surprise when he released a complete surprise mixtape titled If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. The 17-track mixtape/album was solely released digitally online and is on its way to another number 1 for Mr. Graham. After the 1st week, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late sold an estimated 497,602 copies (541,585 including streams) according to HDD.

The mixtape/album includes features from Lil Wayne, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Travi$ Scott and it will serve as Drake’s 4th consecutive number 1 album. The surprise aspect, the promotion-less push and of course the music is further proof that Drizzy’s in a very special place in his career where he seemingly can’t lose.

If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late will serve as the highest selling album of 2015 when it comes to first week sales. These numbers are based off of four days of the album being available, making this accomplishment that much more incredible. Drake also broke another record by earning up to 17.3 million streams on Spotify, breaking his previous record of 15.8 million with Nothing Was The Same. The numbers speak for themselves.

Congratulations to Drake and the OVO team on yet another accomplishment. If you haven’t yet, be sure to grab If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late on iTunes.
