The 40th anniversary special episode of Saturday Night Live couldn’t have received a stronger opening duo than Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon. The two effortlessly paid homage to past sketches, even including Timberlake’s “Dick In A Box” during the segment.

NBC Studios was overrun by stars for the almost three-hour special. Featuring comedians, acts and artists from past and present who have all left their stamp on the comedy-sketch show, Justin and Jimmy sang and rapped us right into the mood.
