It was almost a year ago that CyHi the Prynce released his socio-politically themed Black Hystori Project mixtape that was lauded by those that took the time to listen to it but slept on by others. Making it a tradition, CyHi takes full advantage of this year’s Black History Month to release BHP2: N.A.A.C.P.

The G.O.O.D. Music MC has given us a preview of the project in the Jodeci-sampled “Forever” and “To Be Real,” but the 11-track release continues its predecessors theme of balancing social consciousness with lessons of street law. CyHi’s efforts haven’t gone for naught, after he shared his experience of meeting the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan with Kanye West and his family.

Production of BHP2: N.A.A.C.P. comes from the likes of Jayo,Tec Beatz, Brandon Black, Mannie Fresh and more while the only feature comes from Alanna. Stream the full project below.
