In the latest installment of The Fader and Sonos’ “At Home” series, Miguel welcomes cameras into his L.A. pad. With pictures of Jimmy Hendrix and Marilyn Monroe lining his walls, the singer-songwriter along with his cat Munchie show us the fridge which doubles as his own picture album.

With photos of him with friends like Nas and Carlos Santana, Miguel invites us into the world of his creative process. “Throughout the process of creating this album its been a constant rough mix to see what it sounds like in the real world on real speakers,” he explained. “I start everything here with ideas and a lot of songs I finish here. The solitude of being in your own home, the comfortability and the amount of vulnerability you’re able to accomplish you can’t compare that to being in a real sterile studio.”
