James Davis

Representing both Hardcover and Motown is their newest band, James Davis. Composed of Jess and Rey, who are fraternal twins, and their brother Austin, the Los Angeles trio debuts their latest single and video for “Co-Pilot.”

The visuals for “Co-Pilot” show the trio enjoying the company of friends passing bottles of brown liquor and red solo cups in a chill setting while the piano laden tune flows through the scene. Displaying the synergy between the siblings, they tag team chords showing the balance between them.

For those of you not familiar with James Davis the band writes and produces their own music, channeling influences that range from Fleetwood Mac and Curtis Mayfield to today’s sounds of Kinds of Leon creating an invigorating blend of alternative music and guitar string plucks.

“Co-Pilot” serves as the second listen to their self-titled EP, which is scheduled to drop this spring. If you wish to take a listen to their first single and purchase both you can visit iTunes and Spotify. Until then press play on the video above.
