Trey Songz Speaks Out About Grammy Exclusion
by Staff Editor
Trey Songz has one platinum and one gold album on his mantle. How many Grammys? None.
The Virginia singer took to his twitter this evening to sound off on how he’s had a series of tracks and albums to reach No. 1 on the charts but only three Grammy Award nominees to date.
“I don’t rant, this isn’t that,” said Songz. “TRIGGA #1 album “NaNa” “Touchin Lovin” and “What’s Best For You” all #1 on one chart or another. #Grammys ijs.”
Trigga then went on to thank his fans for their consistent support.
Check out all of Trey’s tweets below.
10 years I been able to feed my family and have the support of so many people, just for doing what I would do anyway for NOTHING. Music

So please, don’t take this next sentiment as salt, shade, envy, etc. The Grammys shortchange culture for popularity every year.

My fans give me the real reward no trophy ever could, LOVE. So everytime they give me nothing, I think of you. Thank you, I love you.
