Action Bronson is certainly outspoken, and that’s one of the qualities that grabs the attention of fans and listeners.

The Flushing, Queens native stopped by The Breakfast Club for the first time, and talked about a ton of topics that fans, and critics, wanted to hear him discuss. After getting into a controversial Twitter rift with Azealia Banks, Action made sure to address it on the show.

“Her album was coming out; she needs some publicity, I guess. But whatever, it’s not even a big deal. It was some stupid sh-t, because I’m cool with her people, and we were cool before — I never met her, but it was just dumb sh-t. Unnecessary.”

He also addressed his “whiteness” and the role it plays in his career in hip-hop, telling the hosts:

“F–k all that, man. You have to be talented, you have to work hard, you have to get the right pieces flowin’ for you at the right time. And that’s just what happened to me. I can’t explain what happened.”

Action also talks about the rappers that he wants to work with, the ones he most admires, and even addresses his near-identical voice to Ghostface Killah.
