In celebration of the musicians who left a defining mark on the industry last year, GQ celebrates their mark in the February issue. Featuring “The Legacy Project”- a Hall of Fame portfolio of artists who owned all 12 months of 2014 – Pharrell Williams snags the familiar cover.

Alongside the super producer, St. Vincent, Sam Smith, Future, Mark Ronson, Stevie Wonder, Diplo, Kim Gordon, Rick Ross, FKA Twigs, James Blake, Drake, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Karen O, Spoon, Nas and Iggy Azalea also appear.

Shot by photographer Pari Dukovic, “The Legacy Project” contains photos of all eighteen artists captured in various moments across states.

Pharrell continues to open up in his interviews, this time detailing his choice to work with primarily women. “I am a sensitive person, so I want to be with sensitive people,” he tells GQ’s Devin Friedman. “Women have a way of expressing themselves that I can relate to more honestly.”

Check out Pharrell’s full story and more from the other artists over at GQ.
