Ciara has come forth with new music. The Atlanta singer released a preview of her sixth solo LP with a track titled ‘I Bet’. Ciara, who recently gave birth to her first child Future Zahir Wilburn with ex-fiancé Future, spent most of 2014 enjoying motherhood but is back to the music in 2015 following her 2013 hit ‘Body Party’. ‘I Bet’ will resonate with the ladies with lyrics describing how her lover doesn’t appreciate her now but when she flips the script she’s sure he’ll be singing a different tune. Some lyrics include ” I bet you start loving me, soon as I start loving someone else, somebody other than you. I bet you start needing me, soon as you see me with someone else, somebody other than you.” Not sure who the song is referencing but with it’s smooth tempo and melody Ciara fans will be in for a treat.

‘I Bet’ which was produced by Harmony Samuels, is a sound that reminds one of Ciara tracks like ‘And I’ and ‘Promise’ and the lyrics do more than accompany the track. Ciara’s ex-fiancé Future was accused of infidelity and shortly after the couple called of their engagement. Ciara doesn’t specifically address anyone in the track but additional lyrics like “you acting like you upgraded me, but I upgraded you… you took advantage, I can’t understand it” tells it all. However in an interview with Billboard Ciara says,”I imagine this song (‘I Bet’) will be very meaningful for a lot of people. It is much bigger than any one person’s experience,”. Touché Cici. Listen to ‘I Bet’ and decide for yourself.
