Chris Brown was performing at the Fiesta nightclub in San Jose, Ca. last night when shots rang out and injured five people, according to reports.

According to TMZ, the shots rang out around 1:20 AM PST while Brown was in the middle of performing “Loyal” for a VIP birthday event. It isn’t clear whether the shooting took place inside or outside of the venue. But based on the reaction of the crowd in the footage, it appears that the shooting took place inside.

Four people were rushed to the hospital and the fifth was later brought on their own. There’s no detailed update on their condition, but they’re all expected to live. During the shooting, Brown was swarmed by his security for protection. Watch more footage of the incident below.
