A group of protestors disrupted Bill Cosby’s latest show in Canada while chanting “We believe the women!”

During the last of his three shows in Canada, Cosby was about five minutes into his set before a group of up to 30 women stood up from their seats and took off their coats to reveal white t-shirts that read “We believe the women!” on the front and back, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

These protests come after a growing list of women accused Cosby of rape over the course of four decades, including his reign as “America’s Favorite Dad” while playing Cliff Huxtable on The Cosby Show.

Cosby was already aware of the possibility of there being a disturbance during the performance and asked the audience to remain calm just in case one were to occur.

During the protest, members of the audience showed their support for the legendary comedian with responses of  “We believe the men!” and “We love you, Bill.”

Cosby played the mediator between the two groups by asking the audience to remain calm and asking them to allow the protestors to have their say.

Security then escorted the protestors out of the building and Cosby went on with his performance. He ended the night by urging the audience to “take what has been a wonderful time and let us hold no enemies anywhere.”
