Today (Jan. 9), the family of the late Eric Garner debut an emotional tribute to their father. Calling for an end to police brutality and detailing their own personal pain, “This Ends Today” features Garner’s daughter Erica Garner and relative Steven Flagg. Featuring an audio clip of the incident where Garner repeated told officers, “I Can’t Breathe,” their protest continues on the streets and now in music.

Eric Garner’s tragic death in july, and the following Grand Jury decision not to indict the officer who killed him, has sparked worldwide protests with signs and chants with the phrase, “I Can’t Breathe.” With an emotionally fueled chorus, Erica and Flagg detail their pain and disgust in “This Ends Today.”
