Another woman has come to the forefront in regards to the Bill Cosby rape allegations – Phylicia Rashad. Bill Cosby’s former T.V. wife has stepped up to defend him in the midst of the mounting sexual assault allegations that has continued to rock entertainment news.

Rashad had several things to say about the allegations when she sat down with Showbiz 411. The former Mrs. Huxtable says she still loves Cosby and that the people should “forget these women,” speaking of the rape accusers whose most notable are African-American supermodel Beverly Johnson and screen star Janice Dickinson.

“I don’t know why or who’s doing it but it’s the legacy. And it’s a legacy that is so important to the culture. The show represented America to the outside world. The American family. And now you’re seeing it be destroyed. Why,” she explained.

The Cosby Show, who’s premiere reached it’s 30th anniversary around the same time a clip of comedian Hannibal Burress went viral after being posted on Philedeplhia Magazine’s website, has seen the wrath of people everywhere amid the allegations. In the video, Burress calls Cosby a rapist and tells the audience they should “Google Bill Cosby Rape.”
