This past New Year’s Eve Beyonce and Jay Z took the time to thank U.S. Troops stationed in Afghanistan with a surprise screening of their On The Run Tour special. The HBO special was presented to the troops of USO during their party after a massive balloon drop brought in 2015.
After the massive amount of balloons fell on the troops, Beyonce appeared on the screen to deliver a special message:
“Hello everyone. I just want to say a big thank you to all of our troops for doing everything you do to keep our country safe. We all sleep better at night knowing that you guys are protecting us and we are filled with gratitude. So we wanted to do something special for you guys and we teamed up with our friends, the USO, to do a private screening, just for you guys, of the On the Run tour.”
After Bey shared her greeting with the troops the concert began to play on the screen opening just as seen on the homeland with Future’s “Move That Dope,” which excited many of the viewers.

Brings back memories. I was in the Army from 18 to 22. That was the most fun I ever had in my life, even with deploying to Iraq.
