Chicago’s own Lil Bibby had quite a successful 2014 and is looking to take that energy with him in 2015. It started in the beginning of the year when the young Chicago emcee was picked to be one of the Dirty Dozen for the XXL Freshmen Cover, officially making him a household name. His Free Crack mixtape series has also become quite popular and the gritty rapper has already given us two installments, leaving us anxiously wanting a third.

After our exclusive interview with Bibby, it appears that the wait is close to being over. While we can expect Free Crack 3 to drop some time in 2015, we should also be expecting the third installment to be the last of the Free Crack series. Bibby says, “I wanna try something for sale. I can’t just keep giving out mixtapes.” This ideology comes with success and Bibby is warranted for that at this point.

For the rest of our sit-down, the quiet, but powerfully spoken Chi-town native touched on the recent tragedies in our country surrounding Michael Brown, Eric Garner and Antonio Brown; the Chicago rap scene and how he fits in; he gave his advice to upcomers trying to make it in hip-hop, and much more.
