After a 2014 that made him a household name, Ty Dolla $ign’s 2015 kicked off in grand style with assisting Kanye West’s “Only One.” In a sit down with Billboard, Ty Dolla $ign revealed the workings of that track but also revealed that something bigger is coming as he will once again align with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, but Rihanna will join him as well.

While speaking to Billboard, Dolla $ign stated that he and Kanye worked on a total of nine songs after he was invited to Mexico by Yeezus. Those songs were done in 24 Hours as Ty felt “‘I’m here with Kanye, I’m not gonna waste my time.’”

One day my homie Ricky Anderson [Kanye’s cousin] hit me up and was like, ‘Kanye wants you to come work with him in Mexico,’” Ty disclosed. “So I came out there [and] we did like nine songs in one day; one of them happened to be ‘Only One.’”

Continuing to talk about the work that was put in south of the border, Ty Dolla revealed that the collaboration between the “Only One” trio and bringing in Rihanna will be apart of Kanye’s album and there is also a video already shot for the song, before reaching silence on what else would be on the album to respect Mr. West’s album presentation.
