N.E.R.D. is officially back, as Pharrell, Shay, and Chad are taking their talents to the pineapple under the sea. The Spongebob Squarepants franchise and N.E.R.D. have teamed up to produce and perform exclusive tracks for The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water soundtrack, and they’ve just released one of the first called “Squeeze Me.” Chad of N.E.R.D. describes the music as “psychedelic and otherworldly,” which sounds about right to fans of the long-running hip-hop supergroup.

The music is sure to be a treat for Spongebob and N.E.R.D. fans alike, and we can’t wait to see it used for the upcoming film.
