Muhammad Ali is being treated for a mild case of pneumonia in an unnamed Louisville, KY hospital. The all-time boxing great is said to be in stable condition, according to a statement, and will have a short stay.
“He went into the hospital this morning,”Bob Gunnell, his spokesman, said. “He has a mild case of pneumonia and the prognosis is good.”
Ali, 72, has been part of an ongoing battle with Paskinson’s disease, but still makes public appearances as sporting events when he can. The three-time heavyweight champion is considered by many to be one of the greatest athletes of all-time.
We hope that Muhammad Ali had a speedy recovery.
