Besides being Canadian muicians, what do these three have in common? They’re all recipients of the Allan Slaight Award.

The Allan Slaight Award, named after the self-made billionaire/communications mogul, acknowledges “the achievements of young Canadians who have the ability to turn their talent into inspiration.”

The Weeknd is the latest to receive the award, created in 2010, and was recognized by his impact on the industry by the likes of Rick Rubin, Diddy, Wiz Khlifa and more.
