The Sony emails being leaked this past week have been pretty damaging for the entertainment company, but recent ones might actually bring some good news.

The Daily Beast reportedly went through hundreds of emails amongst the staff that were leaked, and discovered that Kanye West’s creative director, Elon Rutberg, pitched a feature film for the Yeezus rapper.

The email from Rutberg talks about the potential pitch for the possible movie:

“I supervise all of Kanye’s film and media projects, and we have a major film project coming up that involves both cinematic and technological innovation, so I naturally thought Sony and wanted to reach out,” wrote Rutberg. “We premiered a multi-screen cinema experience to great response at Cannes 2012, and are looking to take the storytelling to the next level with a feature length film, shot for an immersive cinema experience.”

According to other emails, Yeezy is also set to star in an upcoming Christmas film next year with Seth Rogen, that will also feature Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as the email from producer James Weaver to Seth revealed:

“We’ll have an XMAS tease for 2015. We have a specific idea to attach to THE INTERVIEW that will crush. Seth, Joe, and [Anthony] Mackie reenacting the scene from BIG on the floor piano at FAO Schwartz with KANYE WEST. It’s fucking awesome.”
