Childish Gambino

Never forget, before we knew him as Childish Gambino we were impressed by the acting capabilities of Donald Glover. Now the actor-rapper is meshing his two realms with his rap-comedy series Atlanta.

Taking on the role of Earnest “Earn” Marks, a college dropout who decides to go the rap route after his estranged cousin becomes a breakout star in the ATL scene, the project will be executive produced by Paul Simms (Girls), Dianne McGunigle (The Schiff Company) and Bino himself.

Almost a year after he pitched the project, FX has ordered a pilot for the series, according to Deadline. Stay tuned for Donald’s return to the small screen in 2015 via FX. Will you tune in?
