J. Cole Brings ‘Be Free’ To The ‘Late Show With David Letterman’
by Staff Editor
This is the week of J. Cole. After dropping his third LP and raking in rave reviews, the North Carolina native took over the Late Show with David Letterman’s stage to perform “Be Free.” Despite the track not appearing on 2014 Forest Hills Drive, there isn’t a more appropriate time for the track to be heard and felt worldwide. In the midst of various deaths caused by police brutality, grave unrest and protests sparked around the globe, J. Cole puts on a riveting performance with an added verse.
