Earl Hayes, a member of Floyd Mayweather’s Money Team, and a good friend of many of your favorites in the industry, has been found dead after reportedly shooting his wife prior to turning the gun on himself.

According to TMZ, gunshots were reported to have been coming from an apartment, to which the SWAT team arrived on the scene, knocked down the door, and found both Hayes and his VH1 actress wife Stephanie Moseley dead on the floor.

Hayes was a close friend to many, including the likes of Swizz Beatz and Keyshia Cole, who both wrote tributes to him when they heard the news of his death.

Swizz captioned the heartbreaking message:

RIP to one of my best friends in the world!! @earlhayes I’m sick & hurt about this news. I’m sending my deepest condolences to your family #ripearlhayes Wow this can’t be real!”

Keyshia captioned her own photos of Earl:

The guy on the left, His name is @earlhayes ! We came up together in Oakland Cali!!! At one point in time we were all actually in a group as young kids. Him @queenamina7300 and I. We all used to work with a guy names Eric who has also passed away, not to long ago. Well…it has been brought to my attention that our childhood friend is gone. He has passed on. Be kind to people. You never kno the fight they may be fighting. #RiP @earlhayes gonna miss your crazy self!!! #LoveForLife!!!!

Chris Brown has responded to the death of Stephanie, who was one of his backup dancers for awhile:

RIP baby girl. Danced with me on tour and was always the coolest person. My prayers go out to you and HAZE family.

Stephanie was an actress and dancer on the hit VH1 show Hit The Floor, and was also a backup dancer for Britney Spears. TMZ says that Earl Hayes had accused her of “infidelity with a famous singer,” but did not disclose a name.

Our prayers go out to Earl and Stephanie’s loved ones, and we will keep you updated with the latest.
