Hip-hop fans and family members are anxiously awaiting an updating on Beanie Sigel, who was shot this past week in South Jersey and taken to AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center.

According to reports, the former Roc-A-Fella rapper is still reported to be in critical condition following a surgery shortly after arriving at the hospital, and is being held in the intensive care unit.

NJ.com is reporting that Beanie is currently sedated, and has been unable to talk to police authorities about the shooting, which he was not the targeted victim of.

Police in Pleasantville have also reportedly searched his home to find new leads or information pertaining to the incident, but found nothing.
