wish

Today is November 11th, or 11/11, which means it’s the unofficial “make a wish” holiday. For those of you who regularly make a wish at 11:11 a.m. and p.m. every day, we can only imagine what today has been like for you.

This year, hip-hop saw a lot of good, a lot of bad and a lot of underwhelming moments. Several great albums dropped including YG’s My Krazy Life, ScHoolboy Q’s Oxymoron, Wiz Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood, Logic’s debut album Under Pressure and a ton more, but none of them went platinum. We’ve seen break out stars like Bobby Shmurda, Rae Sremmurd and DeJ Loaf rise to stardom pretty much overnight, but everyone’s first reaction was to call them “one hit wonders” until proven wrong with each of their follow up releases. 2014 was a solid year for hip-hop, but I think we all have a wish or two of how we wanted the year to play out.

With that being said, we thought we’d get in the 11/11 spirit by making some wishes of our own. Click through the following pages to see 5 things that we hope to see happen by the end of the year.
