The name is Just Ivy. A European-born pop singer who is infusing the sultriness found in R&B with mega pop choruses and beats you simply can’t help but nod your head to. Pulling inspiration from greats like Tina Turner, Michael Jackson and Madonna, Ivy utilizes her worldly and spiritual influences to create her “feel-good” music.

“I experiment with everything I possibly can,” she said. “I love pop music, but I love urban as well. They’re completely different, and I’m inspired by both. At the same time, I impart a piece of myself on everything I do. I’ve always felt like when there’s nothing to say, there’s music. Every song can be traced back to an emotion in your life. It defines moments.”

Since releasing her debut single “Paradise” with Akon in 2013, Just Ivy has captured the attention of DJ Khaled who has appeared on her follow up single’s “Bad Girl Take Over” with Meek Mill and most recently “Light Me Up” this summer.

Having fun with a little acting in sunny Miami, the pop artist and Khaled shot the visuals for “Light Me Up” under the direction of Griz Lee. “Shooting the ‘Light Me Up’ video was an unforgettable and exciting experience. Everybody’s hard work and dedication on the set was inspiring and we all did our best to make it appear as a short film,” she said in a release.
