In this game we call music, it’s not always easy to survive the dog-eat-dog world. Over the decades, we have seen many talented artists, and fan favorites, fall off the radar after suffering the consequences of an intense beef with another artist. Some have come out just barely alive from the lyrical or social media breakdown, while others have blown away from the map like dust. There are a few, however, who have been dissed and turned it around to reap their own rewards.

Whether they have found a way to embrace the diss with the “beating everyone to the punch” technique, or made the factor behind the diss irrelevant, it’s almost a talent in itself to come out better than ever. Some might even look at these artists careers and call it a complete blessing in disguise for their future in the industry.

Check out some artists who were able to take diss lemons and make sweet lemonade on the following pages.
