Teyana Taylor is just a few days away from finally releasing her highly anticipated debut VII. Teasing us with sexy video snippets of tracks to be heard on the album, Teyana is ready to let the masses hear what she’s been working on. “Now it’s time for the world to hear it and see what I have in store and hopefully enjoy this full body of work,” she told Civil TV.

Hitting the booth with friend and album collaborator Chris Brown was an easy session for the songstress who has worked with him before. Naming the Breezy-assisted “Do Not Disturb” as one of her favorite tracks on the album, the “Maybe” crooner had no issues making music with one of her good friends.

“Its one of my favorite records on the album and it was really fun writing because the “please don’t” – what is that the post-hook – just randomly came,” she said. “Me and Chris did a lot of writing together but working on the album was definitely insane. We were so used to writing for everyone else that by the time we got to the studio for us it was easy. The vibe was there.”

Celebrating her album’s release with an intimate listening party, the G.O.O.D. Music artist reflected on having Kanye West go off on a rant in support of her project. “When Kanye made his speech at the party it definitely made my night. I got really emotional – when you believe in your vision and sometimes you feel like you’re the only one that sees that vision it is a little disheartening. For the person that you signed to, to express the things how he feels and it’s the exact same thing that you feel is everything.”

Teyana Taylor sounds is dope, but are y’all familiar with Tamar Braxton? She has a new single “Let Me Know” featuring Future. “Let Me Know” what y’all think, its getting a lot of love in ATL and growing by the day!
