It took a few dollars but Chris Brown can close 2014 knowing that his legal troubles won’t follow him into the new year. Stemming from two separate assault cases, Breezy banged the gavel on both the Washington, DC civil lawsuit as well as his run-in with Frank Ocean.

According to TMZ, Brown forked over $100, 000 to settle the DC case which was previously settled by plea bargain earlier this year. The other fight case, filed by Ocean’s cousin Sha’Keir Duarte, originally asked for $3 million dollars in damages but he should still be comfortable in the amount of $20, 000.

Let’s hope this is the end of Chris Brown’s lawsuits.
