T.I.G. Records Set To Host ‘We Are Atlanta’ Weekend

Atlanta is the place to be for hip-hop this weekend as the city will not only host the taping of the BET Hip-Hop Awards but will also have the inaugural We Are Atlanta weekend, which will kick of Thursday, September 18 and run through Sunday September 21. The weekend was announced by Think It’s A Game (T.I.G.) Records and sustained by the City of Atlanta and it’s mayor Kasim Reed, with the goal of pro diving safe and entertaining environments for all ages.

During the weekend, those in Atlanta will be able to enjoy events such as a live concert showcasing talent fluke, Rich Homie Quan, Trinidad James, ForteBowie, Lucci and more. In support of Zero Waste Campaign in Atlanta, T.I.G. Records will have awareness stations to give information regarding recycling, water management, and energy conservation.

“It is both and honor and a privilege to give back tot he city that continues to support our dreams,” G. “Fly” Henry, CEO of T.I.G. Records stated. “Join Think It’s A Game Records as we salute Atlanta through arts, entertainment and public service.”

Events throughout the weekend include, “Welcome To Atlanta,” which serves as Rich Homie Quan’s cover unveiling, C.U.T.S. (Clean Up The Streets) Community Project, MVP Experience, Art of Atlanta with Karen Civil and the We Are Atlanta Day Party and free concert. Uber will be on hand making traveling to each event seamless.
