It dropped back in 2009, but Jay Z and Rihanna’s collaboration “Run This Town” is still one of the more popular tracks in the rapper’s catalog. Blowing off the dust for the track, Hov and Rih’s The Blueprint 3 single will serve as the intro opening of each weekly NFL Thursday Night Football game.

Fox Sports reports the Roc Nation duo, sans Yeezus, but will be accompanied by a Don Cheadle narrated customized preview of the night’s game, the first will belong Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers.

“This open combines of music’s biggest stars with one of the most dynamic actors in Hollywood,” said Pete Radovich, CBS Sports Creative Director. ” The energy that both talents give the opening to every Thursday night the big-game, primetime feel it deserves.”

Thursday Nght Football games will air on CBS until October 30, when the games will be taken over by the NFL Network. Tune in tomorrow to catch the first Thursday Night Football opening featuring Jay Z and Rihanna tomorrow.
