We can be certain about two things for Alicia Keys: she is expecting a December baby and her upcoming album will be one of her best works yet.

“What I know for a fact is it’s the best music I’ve ever done in my life yet and it’s really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity,” she said. “The music’s actually pretty much done already and so you’ll be hearing some of it soon.”

Playing coy about the sex of her baby and the album release date, Alicia is keeping busy with other projects like her new Givenchy perfume. While we await new music, we can be certain that music will be as much apart of her new baby’s life as it is for soon-to-be four-year-old son Egypt.

“He’s a little music fanatic. He has all this rhythm. He loves to dance. He can play drums. He can beatbox,” Keys said at the launch of her new Givenchy perfume, Dahlia Divin. “I think that you do see how just the influence of music and perhaps it is in the DNA, and perhaps it is a part of the magic of what’s inside of the parents that it’s coming through him.”
