Kanye West

Who’s the smartest celebrity ever? According to Kanye West, it’s himself. TMZ was able to grab the transcript of Kanye West’s deposition in his court case involving the accused assault of a photog and the smashing of his camera.

While speaking to the lawyer of the photog, Nate Goldberg, Kanye stated, “I’m in the business of trying to make dope s**t for the world. You’re in the business of representing scums and trying to make as much money as long as there’s this lapse in the law.”

Goldberg went on to challenge Kanye with his own lyrics from “Flashing Lights,” quoting “Till I get flashed by the paparazzi, damn, these ni**as got me.” Already a misstep by trying to use Kanye’s words against him, Yeezus interrupted the lawyer over his usage of the “n” word due to feeling offended because the lawyer is a white man.

Continuing from his interjection, Kanye compared the fight for civil rights by African-Americans in the 1960s to the issue of celebrities today. “We, as group of minorities here in L.A., as celebrities have to ban together to influence guys like this -guys trying to take the picture, guys trying tog et the big win, guys trying to get the check,” Kanye explained.

Included in the statements of Mr. West was, “I’m the smartest celebrity you’ve ever f***king dealt with. I’m not Britney Spears.” Atleast we know who has the brainpower among the celebrities.
