Marsha Ambrosius Friends & Lovers isn’t the album you press play if you’re living in your feelings. Be prepared to  relive that first kiss, that first taste of guilt and all the good sex experienced by that one person who was so good and so bad for you all at once. It’s nice to revisit those lazy lovers but Marsha makes it so easy to celebrate love with her passion laden lyrics.

The too short “Kiss and F**k” gives that lazy love while “69” awakens our inner vixen. And if you’re in need of a ballad detailing your confusion in navigating whether to flee out or into your bae’s arms, the emotionally charged “Run” is just the vocal remedy you’re looking for.

Marsha’s soulful vocal range is on display in Friends & Lovers, communicating the complicated love stories felt in situationships, relationships and former lover romp sessions. After just one spin, check out five standout tracks from the “Alone Together” crooner’s third solo LP and grab your copy at iTunes. – All3Y_B
