Today music lovers around the world mourn the 5-year anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson.  Many of todays stars credit the King of Pop to be an important influence in their career, including Beyonce who wrote a letter in remembrance of the late icon.

Before taking to the stage tonight to kick off her On The Run Tour with husband Jay Z, the “Partition” singer posted a letter to her website titled “Inspiration Michael Jackson.” The brief letter reflects on listening to Michael’s live performance of “Who’s Loving You” early in her career, citing the reason was to learn his soul.
