Trick Trick flexed just how much power he holds in his city Detroit when he reportedly ran Rick Ross out. Rozay was scheduled to perform at Hot 107.5’s Summer Jamz 17 but never made it to the stage. The story goes that he was met outside of Chene Park by 100 individuals who denied the rapper entry.

Jay Hicks, program director of Hot 107.5, was forced to address the crowd when he realized the bawse would not be taking the stage. “I’ma be real with y’all, I’ma be real as f*ck,” Jay said. “We had Rick Ross right outside here tonight at about 11:00. When he was pulling up to come into Chene Park, he was met by 100 individuals outside. We have tried to pull every resource together and asked him to come back. He is in fear of his life. He’s in fear of his life and that n*gga is not performing here tonight. And he may never perform in Detroit again..”

It is known in the industry that when flying down to Detroit it is custom to contact the unofficial mayor: Trick Trick. Ross failed to make the call.
