Kanye West at Bonnaroo 2014

Yes, another Kanye West rant. During this weekend’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival Yeezus returned with his deep catalogue, another expensive mask and another lengthy rant, however he was met with boos. Kanye headlined the second day of the festival, his first Bonnaroo visit since 2008, and in the midst of performing tracks ranging from “Black Skinheads” to “Jesus Walks,” Ye screamed his feelings to the crowd with statements such as “Where the press at? Fuck the press!” Unfortunately for Kanye, his rant was met with boos from the massive crowd but his Kim Kardashian was there providing support for his claims of topping David Stern and Walt Disney.

In addition to Kanye West, artists such as Frank Ocean, Chance the Rapper and Lauryn Hill graced the festival stages. Bringing R&B to the Tennessee festival grounds, Frank delivered a set that featured hits from his channelORANGE album, while Lauryn Hill provided pieces of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and tracks from her Fugees days.

Also on hand to please the Bonnaroo crowd was the legendary Lionel Richie who performed a wide array of songs to get the the crowd dancing and singing, Pusha T and Wiz Khalifa brought hip-hop and the Skrillex Superjam which brought Lauryn HIll to the stage as well as Mystikal, A$AP Ferg and Janelle Monae. The Bonnaroo festival ended with a performance from Sir Elton John and an intense fireworks display.
