The Clipse on CNN

Hip-hop group The Clipse were guests on CNN Tonight were they took host Bill Wier to their hometown of Virginia Beach and provided background to their careers. During his time with the host, No Malice took Wier on a tour of their neighborhood showing their home and detailing, at one point hesitantly, what led the duo to their hustling past.

Pusha T took Wier on a ride where the two discussed how his older brother’s decision to devote his music to God put a halt to the growing success of The Clipse and the potential 10-year anniversary tour for the Lord Willin’ album. King Push also  went on to speak on his endeavors within fashion and as a solo artist. Check out both pieces of their time spent with CNN on the next page.

I love their music, but don’t like how Bill is so happy to laugh off their selling crack as ‘youthful indiscretion’ that somehow no one should care about. Malice even admits, they weren’t even poor at the time, just greedy! I’m glad if he’s changed his ways, but I wonder how often he thinks of any other lives he may have helped to ruin a long time ago
