Kendrick Lamar, admittedly heavily influenced by Tupac Shakur, may have knocked something big off of his bucket list tonight. Participating in the first ever iHeart Radio Music Awards, the Compton rapper took the stage before a Los Angeles crowd to perform Tupac and Dr. Dre’s “California Love” before finishing off with “m.A.A.d city” with shoutouts to late West Coast rap legends like Pac, Eazy-E and Nate Dogg. The video starts off with Kendrick telling the story of seeing Tupac and Dr. Dre for the very first time in his youth. Watch the full performance below.
