Puff Daddy and Guy Gerber have an unconventional EDM collaboration underway. Keeping the project mostly under wraps, Puffy wants 11:11 to be wildly entertaining and isn’t too concerned about making money off the upcoming project.

“The underground is what keeps music alive,” Puff said during his one on one at the IMS Engage – a spin off of the Ibiza Music Summit, Billboard reports. “We’re not trying to please the masses. Some people will love it and some will hate it. If  people like it, you might have a chance to make more money if you don’t ask them to pay for it.”

“With music, you can touch people,” Gerber adds, pointing to his head, heart and groin as he continues, “here, here and here.”

The Israeli DJ/producer spoke on the premise of their unlikely partnership when he was brought to New York to first meet with New York mogul. “He played me a track from my first album for inspiration,” he said. “And I gave him a big hug.”
