A film based on the life of former NBA player, Allen Iverson, will be making it’s debut at the  2014 Tribeca Film Festival. IVERSON, the 214-directed film focused on the legend that recently retired his jersey in his long-time home of Philadelphia, is set to premiere on Apr. 27. It seems that tickets already sold out within the first day.

The Tribeca Film Festival will also be premiering Time is Illmatic,  a film based off of Nas’ process of creating Illmatic, which is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this Saturday. Hopefully both make it to major theaters for mass consumption sometime soon.
