Outkast Reunites on the Coachella 2014 stage

Hip-hop was wide awake early this morning. It was around 11:30 p.m. PST (2:30 a.m. EST) when Outkast headlined Day 1 of the 2014 Coachella Art & Music festival last night. André 3000 and Big Boi hit the stage for their official return for a set that lasted an hour and a half. Twitter was abuzz (arguably more than the audience) while fans all over could watch the live stream of the historic event.

The day after, everyone seems to be sharing their opinions about the performance concerning if the duo met our high standards and what can be improved upon. Whatever you feel could be worked on it should be said that there’s still plenty of time to given that Outkast plans to go on a festival tour with over 40 stops. First show out of 40? I think they can afford some room for improvement.

Watch the full set of the performance, that also featured appearances from Sleepy Brown, Janelle Monáe, Future and Killer Mike.
